So, 3 weeks ago tomorrow we adopted a beautiful kitten from the local shelter. I meant to do an official announcement... but life got in the way. :)


So, introducing Minou!


She has had quite the ride so far. An upper respiratory infection, then conjunctivitis.... now recovered from thanks to the vet.

But now.....

*shudder*

Tonight I picked up my beautiful kitten.... and I felt something strange on my arm. I looked down and thought it looked like a grain of rice. But we haven't eaten rice in a couple of days. I looked closer.... and it moved! On my arm! I admit. I freaked..... threw the cat at my sister (who thought I was nuts)

After some extensive googling, it has been decided.... my beautiful kitten has a worm.... tapeworm! Poor Minou!

We were at the vet on Monday and were given a all in one treatment thing for fleas and worms and all that good stuff. I hope that it takes care of this.... we're calling the vet in the morning to find out for sure.

...now i'm afraid to go to bed!
